Business Excellence Series: Excellence in People & Capability

 

The Queenstown Business Awards brings the business community together, recognising achievement, diversity, innovation, and the fantastic talent we have here in the region.  

To continue celebrating, the Queenstown Business Chamber of Commerce has developed the “Business Excellence Series”.

Where category sponsors and the relevant Award winners are invited to share their stories with members, providing a platform to share their knowledge and expertise with the business community.

 

 

Active Adventures, winner of the Excellence in People & Capability and Supreme Business of the Year Award winner, will be speaking about the “people” part of their businesses, their wellbeing and H&S strategies, the investments they have made in this area and the initiatives Active Adventures have implemented that create opportunities for employee learning, growth, and engagement.

A representative from Te Pukeanga will lead the discussion about why they sponsored the award and what they were looking for a a category sponsor.

  • Queenstown Business Excellence Series is a member only event.  Non members must be approved by the membership manager of Queenstown Business Chamber of Commerce.
  • This event will be photographed. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to your image possibly being used through Chamber of Commerce Marketing Channels.
  • Please note that the Queenstown Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to cancel or postpone this event in case Government Restrictions make it impossible to hold. If the event does not take place on the advertised date, if possible, we will reschedule the event for a later date. If this happens, your event registration will be automatically moved to the new event date. If you cannot make the rescheduled event date, you will receive a refund of the full ticket price.
  • Your details may be shared with the host venue or partners.
  • Code of conduct:
    • Queenstown Business Chamber of Commerce intend to create quality events within a safe and respectful environment for all attendees and presenters to share knowledge, express their thoughts and opinions and network. Our Code of Conduct requires all attendees and stakeholders to act in a manner that is harassment-free and respectful of people in a public environment.  Our code of conduct also extends to offensive comments, questions or posts made on online media platforms. 
    • Any attendee who is deemed to be violating the code of conduct may be expelled from the event, presented with a trespass notice, and Queenstown Business Chamber of Commerce Membership voided, without refund.

Getting to and From

Location: Queenstown Business Chamber of Commerce Meeting Room, Level 3 Bradley Building, entrance off Cow Lane between Mackenzie Coffee & Glassons.   MAP HERE

Parking: Cow Lane is a one-way street at the moment and there is no parking on Cow Lane or the surrounding streets.  Parking recommendations:  Man Street Carpark, Boundary Street Carpark, Wilsons Church Street Carpark.
